Hopefully your browser doesn't block them :P The Wiki needs more users like you. Miment 06:29, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

Spam

Just an update, I talked with Rob about it a bit on IRC. He knows, and he's telling Harknell.

[15:02] <RobTitan> Primary problem is with new pages being created, then?
[15:03] <Miment> Yes
[15:04] <Miment> Disabling new pages would be an OK temp fix, but requiring a proper captcha on edits
with new external links should stop basically any type of spam.
[15:07] <RobTitan> I will quote you on that directly to Harknell in this email I am composing.

Also, if you could put the Category:Spammer in the user talk page, that'd be great. We stared that convention because anonymous users don't have user pages (they only have talk pages). Just saves an edit when they get moved from spammer to banned. Great work with keeping everything policed by the way! Miment 18:42, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

I'd love to promote you to admin (Permanently!) but I don't have the authority to do it. I can't even give you temp banhammer only privileges :( You'd need to get in touch with Harknell about that. If you can, feel free to tell him I think it's a good idea :3 Miment 04:33, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

Still no word on the captchas D: Miment 14:17, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

Notes to Self

Pages I've made, and should continue to update:

Links to archives

Hi, I see you're the primary active person on this wiki. I fixed {{Erf}} for books 0-3. Do you know where links to the summer updates and such should go? Then I can fix them as well. MartyH (talk) 16:48, 17 March 2015 (UTC)

Maintenance & stuff

Hello. It looks like speedy deletion queue is not maintained at all, as well as some other maintenance things. Not sure who to talk about this, but you seem to know at least something. Also, I wasn't able to find a good place for general wiki-wide discussions. For example, there's a bunch of character pages that include rank in the page title (like King Scrofula) and that don't (Slately). This should definitely be straightened up, but there doesn't seem to be any policy pages for these things either. --DukeBG (talk) 15:27, 17 April 2016 (EDT)
