Panel 1

It is the dark of night, and Wanda is riding one of the uncroaked unipegataurs. She still wears her red and black one piece with black robe/cloak. Behind her a small campfire lights Parson and Sizemore.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Don't know why she's still boopin' around with her toys.

She knows I need to talk to her.

Panel 2

Parson and Sizemore absorb the warmth from the fire as plays shadows play across their faces.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Maybe you and I should go over stacks one more time.

Sizemore Rockwell: Warlord, I know my part.

All too well.

Panel 3

Parson is shown in close up with the black starless night in the background.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Yeah.

You're a smart guy, Sizemore.

Panel 4

Parson and Sizemore sit across the fire from the panel's perspective, lit brightly by the orange-yellow flames in the foreground.[edit]

Parson Gotti: I understand you're worried.

I mean, maybe we're all facing the end tomorrow.

The numbers are pretty bad.

Panel 5

Parson waves a hand as he addresses Sizemore.[edit]

Parson Gotti: I shouldn't tell you this, but if it looks like we're about to get crushed? I'm planning to send you and the other casters into the Magic Kingdom.

When the city falls, you'll be barbarians.

Panel 6

Sizemore stirs the coals in the fire as Parson speaks to him.[edit]

Parson Gotti: You have nothing to say to that.

Sizemore Rockwell: You don't understand me at all, Warlord.

I'm not thinking about the end of my life.

Panel 7

Sizemore's face is thick with worry as he contemplates tomorrow's events.[edit]

Sizemore Rockwell: I'm thinking about ending the lives of others.

Your plan will succeed.

Panel 8

Looking through the fire, we see Parson thinks about what Sizemore is telling him.[edit]

Sizemore Rockwell: Or it will fail. By Fate and by Luck and by Numbers.

But whatever happens, I'll have croaked a lot of people tomorrow.

Panel 9

Sizemore holds a stick up to make a point to Parson.[edit]

Sizemore Rockwell: I've tasted it, Warlord.

And I don't like it.

Panel 10

Parson looks down on Sizemore with concern and perhaps pity.[edit]

Sizemore Rockwell: But you can't release me from that. Can you.

Can you.

Panel 11

Sizemore's face is seen in extreme closeup. His right eye is closed, and his expression is troubled.[edit]

Parson Gotti: No.

Sizemore Rockwell: Then I think...

I think I have to hate you.

Panel 12

Parson strides away from the fire, leaving Sizemore and Bogroll behind.[edit]
Parson Gotti: ... I need to go talk to Wanda. [edit]
