Panel 1

The Unaroyal Warlord sits at the foot of Ansom's table, gesturing with half a loaf of bread. To her left, Duke Nozzle gestures with a hand, his elbow on the table. Both are irate. The table is laid out with a banquet, and scores of silhouetted troops ring the table, mountains creating the horizon beyond.[edit]

Sofa King Warlord: We should be feasting tonight in Gobwin Knob.

Unaroyal Warlord: Aye! At Lord Stanley's table!

Superfluous Warlord: Rrm.

Panel 2

The Hobbittm Warlord, to Duke Nozzle's left at the table, and the Superfluous Warlord opposite her, stare at Ansom, off-panel. Both seem coldly angry.[edit]

Hobbittm Warlord: Agreed, Prince.

Instinct tells me we ought to have seized the initiative.

Why did we not?

Prince Ansom: For several important reasons. Hear me.

Panel 3

Ansom, looking determined, sitting at the head of the table. Amongst the troops silhouetted in the background, there appears to be a stuffed elephant.[edit]

Prince Ansom: Firstly, should the flying mission succeed in croaking Stanley on his next turn, the city will revert to helpless barbarism.

Initiative would be ours, regardless.

Council Member: The flying group!

Panel 4

From a viewpoint over Ansom's shoulder, we see the Unaroyal Warlord, Duke Nozzle, and the Hobbittm Warlord at the table staring at him. The Unaroyal warlord is enraged, the Hobbittm Warlord is cold, and Nozzle bears a blank look. Behind them is one of the tents of the encampment.[edit]

Unaroyal Warlord: Did they even survive?

Hobbittm Warlord: If that is where you are pinning your hopes, Highness--

Prince Ansom: Secondly!

Panel 5

A closeup view of Ansom, looking stern.[edit]

Prince Ansom: Had I ordered the tunnel contingent to attack the garrison this turn, Lord Hamster would have withdrawn his forces from the outer walls to aid the fight.

Or sent them down to flank our tunnel units.

Panel 6

A bird's-eye view of the table, with Ansom and the four remaing members of the Royal Crown Coalition War Council: Duke Nozzle, the Unaroyal Warlord, Hobbittm Warlord, and Superfluous Warlord seated around it. Nozzle and TBW sit on the side opposite TSW, Scarlet at the foot, and Ansom at the head. They are surrounded on all sides by the troops of the Royal Crown Coalition[edit]

Unaroyal Warlord: Your tunnel units...

Sofa King Warlord: It wouldn't have been sufficient.

We'd've gone through the outer walls!

Superfluous Warlord: With what siege?

Prince Ansom: Precisely.

Panel 7

Very high bird's eye view of the Royal Crown Coalition troops on the winding path up Gobwin Knob. A few siege towers stick out, small squares among the many tiny dots... all in the rear half of the column.[edit]

Prince Ansom: We may have lost only forty percent of our siege, but those were mainly the units closest to the city.

Only a scant few arrived this turn.

We'll have six times as many at our disposal on the next turn.

Panel 8

A hypothetical scene showing a view from below of Parson looking down over his garrison walls. He is clearly displeased with what he's seeing.[edit]

Prince Ansom: "At that point, Hamster will have only losing options. Leave the garrison undefended and our tunnel forces will take it with ease.

Withdraw from the walls, and we knock them down, and take the garrison from without."

Panel 9

Closeup on Ansom, waving his right hand in the direction of Gobwin Knob.[edit]

Prince Ansom: You can see that he fears most for the outer walls.

He has deployed nearly everything he has there.

Panel 10

Ansom looks up at the dark, foreboding outer wall of Gobwin Knob.[edit]
(There is no text in this panel.) [edit]

Panel 11

A night scene showing the garrison of Gobwin Knob as seen from above. Within the four walls, and under the Tower of Efdup, a baker's dozen of campfires burn, surrounded by the troops remaining in the defense of the city.[edit]

Singing Troops:

Oh the mighty men of Jetstone
Their testes have not yet grown!
Their king stays home and gets stoned,
While the prince goes out and gets pwned!

And the men from Transylvito
Are hung just like mosquitos!
To protect their little egos
They put burritos in their Speedos!

Panel 12

Bathed in the glow of a campfire, Bogroll cheerily hoists a large leg of some animal in his hand, offering it to Parson, whose shoulder is just visible.[edit]

Bogroll: Your drumstick is ready, m'Lord.

Parson Gotti: I'm slowly learning what you can say...
