Music plays a role in the cultural and social interactions of several different groups in Erfworld. Several different sides have been shown singing and playing various musical instruments, including at least two types of horns. Erf-b1-p007 Erf-b1-p094
Music also plays a role in coordinating troops in battle during dance-fighting. For instance, in the Battle for Gobwin Knob, units that were engaged in dance-fighting either performed their own songs, as in the case of TransylvitoErf-b1-p111, or music was generated magically, as was the case when Charlie's Archons created a beat for the Royal Crown Coalition forces to follow in the courtyard of Gobwin Knob.Erf-b1-p128
Lord Stanley can also generate music using the Arkenhammer to aid in dance-fighting. Called "Rocking Out," the Arkenhammer creates a supporting drum beat, backing guitars and a full Rock light show to accompany the user's virtual guitar solo, which is played o the Arkentool itself. Erf-b1.5-p035 This tactic was used by Stanley to aid his knights in fighting Transylvito.Erf-b1-p111

Real World References
The Transylvitian dancefighting song is a modified version of the Jet's theme song and the song "Cool" from the musical "West Side Story".
The song being played in the Royal Crown Coalition war camp is the Ewok Celebration song from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
The song performed by Stanley and his Knights is a conflation (with some ad lib) of the lyrics from KISS's "I Love it Loud" and "Shock Me."
