Fate in Magic
Erf is reality, mechanics, science. Numbers are probability, possibility, mathematics. Fate is free of these; it does what it wants, what needs to be done, with no thought to how it can't be done.
Predictamancy - Fate and Life - Predicting the Fate of individual units (life)
Dollamancy - Fate and Motion - Motion. Manipulation or change of someone's Fate. Like a marionette. Or, giving Fate to an inanimate object, like a golem?
Changemancy - Fate and Matter - Altering matter, in a way beyond the scope of erf and numbers.
Thinkamancy - Fate, Life, and Motion - Power beyond the physical (matter). Transmission of thought (life+motion), altering the path of one's life/fate (suggestion), Natural Thinkamancy = fate at work in life, requiring motion
Signamancy - Fate, Life, and Matter - The abscence of motion; static power. Sigils, wards, signs. Matter that affects life and Fate.
Croakamancy - Fate, Motion, and Matter - The abscence of life; matter moving without life, fate propping up the shells of the croaked.
Carnymancy - Fate, Life, Motion, and Matter - Controlling the "mark" and his fate via all means. The distraction of Life (blather, banter, charm), the deception of Motion (follow the shell, find the pea!), the lie of matter (of course you can knock down that bottle!)
Healomancy - Fate alone - The fragility of Life, the weakness of matter, the lack of motion, the reality of erf and the cold facts of numbers - these mean nothing to the healomancer, who with pure Fate magic, bestows life from nowhere.

Parson & His Bracer
Notably, neither of the magics Parson's meals have been associated with - Mathamancy, or Luckamancy - are Fate-aligned. If he is indeed a Hippiemancer, he'd have to be a Signamancer to be attuned to Fate. Unfortunately we don't yet know what Signamancy is. Commander I. Heartly Noah June 3 2009
Could the Arkenhammer be linked to Changemancy? The power to levitate would be a change of weight and also one in four nuts cracked changes into a bird. This would also link the artifact with the fate axis.
- I was thinking more along the lines of Carnymancy. --Ichthus 20:50, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Carnymancy seems to be the main contender as it is like a toy hammer you would use in a carnival --Raphfrk 21:01, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
How does that explain giving Stanley the ability to control Dwagons?
- Does Stanley have the power to tame wild Dwagons? Perhaps the main power of an arkentool is the power to pop a powerful unit: Dwagons, Archons and Decrypted. Because popping a powerful unit changes the game that could be Fate at work.
- Stanley has been seen apparently taming a dwagon, and the word "tame" has been used in that context as well. Commander I. Heartly Noah June 3 2009
Fate and the Titans
Fate might reflect the Titan's Will. It would be because of it that Fate is related to the Arkentools and Wanda seems to revere it so much. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 220.127.116.11 (talk • contribs) 5 June 2009.
