[edit]

Charlie: What do you need?
[edit]

Looking weary, frustrated, or perhaps just squinting against the light, Jillian speaks to Charlie.[edit]
Queen Jillian Zamussels: Did you order Sammy to croak Ansom? [edit]

Panel 5

A giant, glowing, floating orange-in-yellow hourglass prism[3] hovers in place as a beam of white light shines nearby.[edit]

[edit]

Panel 6

A frustrated-looking Jillian looks up at a giant, glowing, floating yellow crescent moon prism.[4][edit]

Charlie: Really, Jillian?

Queen Jillian Zamussels: Did you?

Charlie: Yes, of course I did!
[edit]

Panel 7

A giant, glowing, floating pink heart prism[5] hovers right in front of Jillian.[edit]

Queen Jillian Zamussels: What, you admit it?

Charlie: If you weren't blinded by love, you'd have carried out the battle plan.

Charlie: Now we're in trouble.
[edit]

Panel 8

Jillian converses with a giant, glowing, floating green four-leaf clover prism.[6][edit]

Charlie: And they're about to.
[edit]

Jillian, hands on hips, leans over and looks at a giant, glowing, floating inverted purple horseshoe prism.[7][edit]

Jillian looks off to one side and grits her teeth.[edit]
Queen Jillian Zamussels: I'm not doing that. [edit]

Panel 12

A giant, glowing, floating orange and yellow pot-of-gold prism[9] hops away from Jillian and the white shaft of light into the infinite black.[edit]

Charlie: No, of course you're not.

Charlie: You left your other love back there, too.

Charlie: Look.

Charlie: I have important people to talk to.
[edit]

Panel 13

The thinkagram broken, Jillian's mind is back with her body, and her squadron of gwiffons and megalogwiffs. She stares ahead wide-eyed.[edit]
Charlie: "Do what you want. You're on your own. Break." [edit]

Prince Tramennis, bathed in white light, smiles up at a giant, glowing, floating rainbow prism.[10][edit]

Notes

  1. ^ Throughout this page, Charlie's presence is manifested in forms of various marshmallows (or marbits) from Lucky Charms cereal (which was also parodied by Parson's Luckamancy Charms Stupid Meal).
  2. ^ The orange star shape is a marshmallow (or marbit) from Lucky Charms cereal.
  3. ^ The hourglass shape is a marshmallow (or marbit) from Lucky Charms cereal. The hourglass shape is possibly a reference to time running out.
  4. ^ The yellow moon is a marshmallow (or marbit) from Lucky Charms cereal. Given the orientation, it may be referencing the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland.
  5. ^ The pink heart is a marshmallow (or marbit) from Lucky Charms cereal. The heart shape is a reference to her being blinded by love.
  6. ^ The green clover is a marshmallow (or marbit) from Lucky Charms cereal. The four-leaf clover is traditionally considered to bring good luck, though it's unclear how that might apply to either Jillian or Charlie at the moment.
  7. ^ The purple horseshoe is a marshmallow (or marbit) from Lucky Charms cereal. The horseshoe is another traditional good-luck symbol. However, when upside-down it means luck running out, which illustrates Charlie's hopes for Jillian or his fears for himself. It also looks like an Omega character, which is worn by Marie Lavraie, seemingly as a symbol of Predictamancy. This could be in reference to the current discussion about what's going to happen.
  8. ^ The red balloon is a marshmallow (or marbit) from Lucky Charms cereal. The balloon shape is a nod to his instructions to "fly" back.
  9. ^ The pot of gold is a marshmallow (or marbit) from Lucky Charms cereal. The fact that it is moving away from Jillian may be a reference to losing Charlie's financial support.
  10. ^ The rainbow is a marshmallow (or marbit) from Lucky Charms cereal. The rainbow might additionally be a reference to Tramennis' perceived sexuality, as the rainbow has been co-opted as a symbol for the GLBT community.
