Proposed Canon

"Juice" is a term describing the mental energy that a Caster uses to cast Spells.Erf-b1-p104Same-site.PNG, Erf-b1-p125Same-site.PNG, Erf-b1-p129Same-site.PNG

A Caster can only spend a limited amount of this energy to cast spells on one turn.Erf-b1-p090Same-site.PNG Juice replenishes at the start of a new turn, taking several "turns's worth" of juice to replenish to full.Erf-b2-p022Same-site.PNG It is possible that sleep aids a Caster in performing actual spells.Erf-b1-p084Same-site.PNG

Archons also use juice to cast their spells, despite not technically being caster units.Hvs.tCF 106

Juice is (or can be) bound to Grandiocosmic Strings. Because of that, in some cases a Thinkamancer can use juice present on their string (a string they are connected with) from another source (such as another caster or a tower). Erf-b3-p179Same-site.PNG

Silent orders and pinky swears cost a minuscule amount of juiceHvs.tCF 191Hvs.tCF 221

Scrolls are a way to "store" juice for later use as casting scrolls do not seem to spend Caster's own juice.Erf-b1-p125Same-site.PNG, Erf-b1-p129Same-site.PNG Casters create scrolls on their turn, for a significantly higher cost in juice than simply casting the same spell. Perhaps, like the Juice spent to replace Motion in Croakamancy spells, this extra juice is spent to put the spell in stasis.

Juice costs for pinky swears and silent orders implies that all units have a juice stat that they are simply not conscious of.
