Charlescomm is the capital city of Charlescomm, the side by the same name. It is the sole city owned by the side and ruled by Overlord Charlie. The Arkendish overlooks the city from on top of Comm Tower, where Charlie and his top archons reside.
It is reputed to be the best defended spot in all Erfworld. The walls include modernistic anti-air artillery emplacements. Charlie states that the city is so heavily rigged that even Fate would have trouble manipulating outcomes. The only side ever known to have attempted an attack on it was Haffaton under Olive Branch's orders, which didn't go as planned.IPTSF Text 80
The city is largely comprised of metal and the insides are absolutely riddled with traps. The doors consist of heavily reinforced hatchways, some of which have bombs designed to detonate if enemy siege breaks through. The halls have patterns of lines that provide lighting, and circles that can put out fires or release Shockmancy attacks. Other traps include goo and gas.
The portal room has some of the strongest security, since it is the only location in the city where non-Charlescomm units ever stay as guests. The entire chamber is effectively an inverted fortress, largely separate from the rest of Comm Tower and designed to protect against any possible attacks from the Magic Kingdom. The portal itself is contained by a vault. Normally, portals disband non-caster units who try to enter the Magic Kingdom and block projectiles. But Charlescomm's portal has been modified by Ivan Poe using the Wonky Wrench and has allowed both non-casters and projectiles to pass.
The city is powered by Shockmancy, which is transmitted by wires embedded in Charlescomm's interstitial passages. The power source is somehow related to the portal column.
