I was wondering if powerball was a spell or a magic item. I understand you think it is a spell. --Muzzafar 15:42, 30 November 2011 (EST)

Yeah, I wasn't sure at first, but I figured that, if Wanda could make one on the spot, at her low level in Book 0, it would seem to be a relatively low level spell like "hoboken". But yeah, just my interpretation at this point. Feel free to move it down to Speculation if you want. --MisterB777 12:26, 1 December 2011 (EST)
Why should I? I think you made a strong argument. --Muzzafar 07:26, 2 December 2011 (EST)

Your moving some blatantly obvious stuff out of Speculation is appreciated. But as a procedural thing, going forward: usually, when an editor is convinced that a particular statement is canon, it goes in the "Proposed Canon" section, which is promoted to canon only by (or with the explicit approval of) Rob or Jamie. Thanks! Menlo Marseilles 00:43, 17 July 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, just going to back MM up. Only Rob (so far) moves anything to "Canon". No one else is qualified.--Kreistor 04:39, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Ah, understood, thanks for the clarification on process. I'll make sure to use the "Proposed Canon" section going forward. BTW, do we have that sort of editing best practices written down anywhere? I don't see it in the Style Guidelines or ErfWiki:Community Portal, and I'm sure I won't be the only person to get a little overzealous in promoting things from Speculation. --MisterB777 16:34, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
It's on the Main Page, under "Rules". It took me a surprisingly long amount of time to find it, though... so I've added it to the Style Guidelines too, to increase visibility. Menlo Marseilles 17:05, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
Heh. Hidden in plain sight, I suppose. Thanks for adding the clarification to the Style Guide. Your addition makes it crystal clear. :) --MisterB777 17:30, 17 July 2009 (UTC)
