Talk:Razing

This should be called Sack, or Sacking. It's the term that gets used in the comic. When is Raze ever mentioned?

Technically, Sacking and Razing are different things in the Real World. You can Sack a city to take all the goods inside, and leave it standing. Razing a city destroys it to rubble: yes, it can be rebuilt, but for the moment, it is useless to everyone. Razing means much less in Erfworld, where money can rebuild to Level 5 on the next Turn, where in our world, Razng would leave a city a waste for many years, since the infrastructure may be completely destroyed. (Anything with an aquaduct would need to rebuild that before anything of significance).

I believe Raze is used in one place. I can't look right now, but I'll try to find it tonight. --Kreistor 17:00, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

Nevermind. Wasn't where I thought it was. --Kreistor 00:36, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
