Text Available and Split Pages

I've created a page for the Declaration of Non-Aggression Between Charlescomm and Gobwin Knob. I'm not sure how you guys have been splitting up panel text for unusually formatted pages like this, but I transcribed the entire contract text into that page. Also, I'm not familiar with the comic page / wiki page creation process, but it might be worth splitting the wiki pages for 30 and 32 into 30, 31, 32, and 33 to reflect the change in the archive. --Red (talk) 05:17, 11 December 2014 (UTC)

The pager template seems to like to use squashed old picture instead of the updated one for some reason, pages 30 and 32 could have updated mirror pages 30a and 32a with links to 31 and 33 and to the originals, or if it feels excessive 31 and 32 could be isolated. It looks like most transclusions have some sort of caching that will take up to a day to update normally. You might notice updates to the Hvs.tCF table of contents aren't reflected on the main table of contents right away. I see where you uploaded a new picture for 32 but reverted 3 minutes later. I say try again with new images for 30 and 32 and give it a day to see if it takes. --Red (talk) 16:13, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
I'll try and see what happens. Spruce (talk) 22:25, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
I learned a neat trick to force-clear a cache: Edit the main page and save without any changes. I did that to this page and I can see the squishing you mentioned. I think I can fix the templates not to do that if you'll leave the image files on the new version while I mess with it. --Red (talk) 23:12, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
Looks like everything should be okay without any changes after all, though you'll need to hard refresh your view of 30 and 32 for them to look right. --Red (talk) 23:23, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
Yep, the editing without change doesn't also leave a notification so it's really good for updating template thingies. Last time I changed page 32 picture I also edited the page without changes but the picture was squashed, I think you are right with the cache time for pictures as they work now. By the way, thanks for the text for the Declaration of Non-Aggression Between Charlescomm and Gobwin Knob. Spruce (talk) 00:01, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
For the comic page images, it looks like the new image file took effect but the image's old dimensions were still locally cached, or something similarly weird. The dummy edit didn't have an effect, but Ctrl-F5 fixed it for me.
And no problems on the text transcription. I've wanted to be able to Ctrl-F my way across the document myself enough times. Also, I'm re-reading with a first timer friend, and we like to copy-paste bits of the text updates to each other to reference for a comment. For the image updates we've taken to reading them on the wiki, and I figured it'd be nice to have these ready when we get here. So my selfishness led to generosity. --Red (talk) 03:43, 14 December 2014 (UTC)
