Panel 1

From above Parson's head, the scene shows the gaunt, demure, and sickly Lookamancer looking up at him. They are in the Situation Room.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Okay, this is very important.

Do not?

May not?

Or cannot move at night?

Panel 2

Parson gestures as he explains to the Lookamancer. Parson is in the rear, but so tall compared to the caster that only the back of her head is shown, while Parson is shown from waist up.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Look, those dwagons we left in the twee-...

trees had move left over.

I want them to use it now, before dawn.

Panel 3

The Lookamancer is shown from midriff up talking to Parson, with the tight skin on her cheeks revealing malnourishment, and unkempt, limp hair belying a lack of personal care. The green lighting and background amplify the sickly atmosphere. Parson's left arm is in the right of the frame.[edit]

Lookamancer: My Lord, no.

Parson: No?

Lookamancer: Huh-have no move... not on turn.

Panel 4

This is a long range image of the Lookamancer, Parson, and the Eyemancer Table. A glowing yellow ball floats at Parson's left lighting the pair. The background is a dark grayish green.[edit]

Parson Gotti: So, you're saying all units' move points drop to zero at the end of their turn?

They cannot move at night.

Lookamancer: *nod*

Panel 5

The Lookamancer is shown in profile on the left, and Parson on the right. He towers over the slight Erfworlder, and his expression shows annoyance and frustration. Parson's watch is on his left wrist.[edit]

Parson Gotti: You know that for an absolute fact?

Lookamancer: Yes, Lord.

Parson Gotti: Boop!

Panel 6

Parson raises his arms to the heavens as he protests the limitations of his new world.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Ahhrrrrrgh!

That... kills one half of a very decent plan.

Panel 7

The Lookamancer is looking even thinner than normal, shown waist up on the left. On the right, Parson's back is to the frame. The background remains green, dark on the left fading to a lighter shade nearer the off-panel glowing yellow ball.[edit]

Parson Gotti: ... and the other half's got to wait until dawn.

Lookamancer: S-sorry, Warlord.

Parson Gotti: No. I'm sorry.

Uhm, what's your name?

Panel 8

This frontal close-up of the Lookamancer confirms the impression of her gaunt and haggard appearance. The green background accentuates the effect.[edit]

Lookamancer: Name? Just "Lookamancer" now.

Was called "Misty."

Panel 9

Parson has taken a seat at the table he ate breakfast at. He has moved the glowing yellow ball to the tabletop.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Sorry to wake you up, Misty.

You can go back to sleep.

Panel 10

From above, Parson and his glowing yellow light can be seen as he opens his eyebook like a laptop, preparing to make notes in it.[edit]
Parson Gotti: I gotta sit here and figure out how I can do this in one turn. [edit]

Panel 11

Off to Parson's side, Misty picks up a cardboard crate beside the table.[edit]
(There is no text in this panel.) [edit]

Panel 12

Misty is taking a seat to Parson's right. She has placed the crate beside her on the bench, and has taken out a book.[edit]

Parson Gotti: What are you doing?

Misty: Helping.
