Panel 1

Sizemore stands in a hallway beside a door, whistling. The door has rodent teeth at the top and a nose on the wall above -- a stylized version of Lord Hamster's livery.[edit]
(There is no text in this panel.) [edit]

Panel 2

A cloudy orange background.[edit]

Sound: Ker-clunk

Sound: creeeeak

Panel 3

Parson stands in the doorway, which is lit by the orange glow from the fireplace inside the room, as he hands the chamber pot to Sizemore.[edit]

Parson Gotti: I appreciate this.

I'm guessing this is Bogroll's job or something.

I dunno where he went.

Panel 4

A scene shows a silhouetted figure holding something in front of a blazing fire.[edit]

Sizemore Rockwell: He's your lackey, and it's his first promotion.

He's probably on some kind of special errand to impress you.

Panel 5

Sizemore's smiling face is brightly lit. We see the back of Parson's head as Parson faces him.[edit]

Parson Gotti: Should I be afraid?

Sizemore Rockwell: Bogroll's got a good heart.

It's really not a typical trait for a Twoll.

Panel 6

Parson stands in the doorway beneath the hamster teeth, looking a bit concerned.[edit]

Parson Gotti: That doesn't answer my--

Sizemore Rockwell: Yes, you should probably be afraid.

Good night, Warlord.

Panel 7

Sizemore walks down the hall, which is illuminated by a hand-shaped glowing wall fixture, similar to those in the staircase. Parson peers out the doorway watching him leave.[edit]

Sizemore Rockwell: Get some rest.

Don't stay up all night modding your eyebook.

Parson Gotti: G'night, Sizemore.

Thanks for taking my crap.

Panel 8

Wanda Firebaugh stands against a blue background, holding her right arm with her left hand. There is a yellow glow in the pupil of her eyes, and her body is partially lit brightly and partially hidden in shadow. She is wearing her white bustier, but her collar is gone.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: Dawn will be here soon, Prisoner.

If you've managed to hold anything back, you're almost in the clear for now.

Panel 9

Jillian is sitting in a slumped position. Her back bears several lash marks and her hair is disheveled. She appears to be naked, with most of her body concealed by shadows. Little sparkles of light surround her head against the blue background of the panel.[edit]
Jillian Zamussels: I haven't held anything back, Mistress. [edit]

Panel 10

The two figures are seen in silhouette agains the blue background, Wanda standing close to Jillian. The sparkles around Jillian's head are less noticeable in this view, but still present.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: I know.

If you had, I would have croaked you.

You've been very good, Jillian.

Panel 11

Wanda's face, arm, and upper body are seen in silhouette as she continues speaking.[edit]

Wanda Firebaugh: Tonight you'll be rewarded properly.

But for now, you may call me "Wanda."

Let us speak freely until dawn.

Jillian Zamussels: Thank you, Wanda.

Panel 12

Wanda is seen in silhouette from eye level down, as she leans back against a table. She plants one arm on the tabletop, and gestures open-handed toward Jillian wtih the other.[edit]

Jillian Zamussels: So...

how are you getting along?

Wanda Firebaugh: Auh.

It's been a nightmare.

Stanley made me cast this spell, right?

This monsterous, combination Findamancy/Lookamancy... thing.[1]

Panel 13

Jillian is seen in silhouette, sitting up a bit straighter and holding her right arm with her left hand. The little sparkles are still visible around her head.[edit]

Jillian Zamussels: Oh, you hate that stuff, don't you?

Wanda Firebaugh: Totally.

So in the middle of the spell, he starts yelling all of this garbage at me...

  1. ^ In describing the spell to Stanley, Wanda stated that it had been created by Findamancers and Predictamancers. The significance, if any, of this somewhat different description remains to be seen.
