Panel 1

A kneeling Tramennis, covered in bubble gum, looks down at his hands. Behind him, Jetstone warlords panic and mill about. A Warlord at Tramennis right has one hand lifted, perhaps on her face.[edit]
Prince Tramennis: She really croaked him. [edit]

Panel 2

A warlord in gold with a red cape stands in front of Tramennis, delivering a report, while the rest of his unit crowd the bridge or mill about the riverbank talking. A soldier, in a silver breastplate, runs up with a message in hand. The Warlord at Tramennis right, with raven hair, has her left hand on her face.[edit]

Prince Tramennis: You saw it?

She turned him into a little puppet?

Like Ansom?

Jetstone Warlord: Yes, Highness. It was vile.

Jetstone Soldier: Highness?

Panel 3

Ranks of warlords stand behind Tramennis, protecting him from possible additional attacks. The soldier and the warlord delivering messages stand in front of Tramennis, while the female black haired warlord at Tramennis right weeps nearby.[edit]

Prince Tramennis: The fate of the world shall be such as the world deserves.[1]

Jetstone Soldier: Your Highness...

Prince Tramennis: But not so with each one of us.

Panel 4

A brown-haired soldier holds forth a message.[edit]
Jetstone Soldier: Message from the King. [edit]

Panel 5

Anchored to the ground with pink bubble gum, Tramennis looks up at his messenger.[edit]

Prince Tramennis: Hold it up for me.

I'm all schmutzed up.

Panel 6

Tramennis squints up at the message held out before him. Behind him are the crying warlord, a Battle Bear, two silver-clad infantrymen carrying several large scrolls, like maps, and the radish-shaped tent camp.[edit]
Prince Tramennis: I'm Chief Warlord, brilliant. [edit]

Panel 7

Tramennis looks up from the ground, somewhat pitifully.[edit]

Prince Tramennis: Can't even scratch my nose, but I'm leading the army.

Right, message him back.

Panel 8

King Slately stands in his castle, clad in regal red raiment, accented in blue and gold, wearing a red, white, and gold crown, and carrying a scepter. His white beard is curled neatly into several locks.[2] Behind him stand two tan-robed figures, likely courtiers.[edit]

Prince Tramennis: Tell King Slately: Ossomer should be considered turned.

Everything he knew, the enemy knows now. Say please advise.

...Then scratch my nose.

Panel 9

King Slately looks into the distance; behind him stretches a hallway of his castle. The doorway is flanked by two soldiers, carrying spears and clad in gold with silver breastplates. To the side of one is a tan-robed figure.[edit]
(There is no text in this panel) [edit]

Panel 10

King Slately, short and round and red, like a radish, stands at the edge of his balcony looking up at a figure in a tan suit mounted on a plated megalogwiff. By the door behind him stand a spearman and a tan-robed figure; a white-robed figure[3] walks across the balcony in another direction, where mounted gwiffons and megalogwiffs hover nearby. Some seem to have blue-clad units on them.[edit]
King Slately: She took another of my sons. [edit]

Panel 11

Jillian Zamussels, mounted on her megalogwiff, sports an odd outfit; A glittery tan top hat and coattails, medieval-style striped short pants with tights and what appear to be sneakers and white socks. Behind her are two more megalogwiffs bearing riders in blue cloaks. Several gwiffons hover around them, unmounted.[4][edit]

Queen Jillian: I'm sorry.

King Slately: That means she knows everything.

She knows you are here.

Queen Jillian: Yeah, I know what it means.

Panel 12

Jillian Zamussels and her units hover over Spacerock. Jillian wears a glittery tan top hat and suit coat; the hat has a red hatband, the coat a black trim, and she wears a red bow tie. She also wears a purplish glittery top, cut to expose cleavage, like that of a magician's lovely assistant. The warlords mounted behind her wear blue raiment with tan cloaks. The megalogwiffs' tails are marked with a blue gwiffon symbol.[edit]

Queen Jillian: Okay then.

At least she won't come in swinging.

She'll want to talk first.

Panel 13

Mounted, Jillian converses with King Slately, who stands nearby. The white-robed woman stands by the balcony railing some distance away, looking out at the other megalogwiffs.[edit]

Queen Jillian: And, for the record, King? She doesn't know everything.

She only knows what I told you.

  1. ^  This is a reference to a quote by real-world scientist Albert Einstein: "The individual must not merely wait and criticize he must defend the cause the best he can. The fate of the world will be such as the world deserves."
  2. ^  King Slately's appearance is much like that of a playing card king.
  3. ^  The white robes are very reminiscent of those of the "White Mage" from the Final Fantasy series of games, with the primary difference being where the red triangles are placed on the robe.
  4. ^  Jillian's raiment is a visual reference to the outfit worn by Columbia in the "Time Warp" number in the film The Rocky Horror Picture Show. This could be seen as a direct parallel to Wanda's raiment, which is a reference to the character Magenta's outfit from the same film.
