Claud Gauntlet is a master-class Dollamancer. A tall man in striped suit with dark hair. Freakishly, his eyes seem to be located on his glasses, rather than in the eye sockets. He was a qualified barbarian on contract to Charlescomm, and a resident of the Magic Kingdom. He was responsible for the construction of Charlie's guns, and Ivan Poe stated that he is the only one in the Magic Kingdom meant to know what a gun even is.
He was frightened of losing his Qualified status and being charged with crimes related to his work for Charlie, as was witnessed when Ace Hardware confronted him about Bonnie disclosing Charlescomm secrets. Erf-b3-p194 Due to the fact that Charlie would not directly hire either him or Ivan, the two casters conspired to break Ivan out of the Dirtamansion using an action figure and the Wonky Wrench.Erf-b3-p202
Ivan and Claud fled to Charlie's underground Magic Kingdom bunker Erf-b3-p208, where Charlie contacted the two offering "everlasting upkeep" under Charlescomm. Both casters refused the offer, demanding to join Charlescomm instead. Charlie reluctantly accepted this offer and Ivan and Claud turned to Charlescomm; however, both were croaked almost immediately afterwards by the Great Minds by severing their g-strings. Erf-b3-p210
Using the Arkenpliers, Wanda successfully decrypted Ivan, Claud, and Marie Lavraie at range as all three casters were in the same hex. Erf-b3-p222 Ivan and Claud were trapped under the Magic Kingdom bedrock as a Charlescomm action figure apparently took the Wrench and the contents of the bunker to an undisclosed location. Erf-b3-p225
Charlie's guns are auto-specialled, and he linked with some Weirdomancer to create the Dismiss Perfect Warlord spell. It is entirely probable Claud has skill in Weirdomancy, another branch of Spookism.
Real World References
Several other elements of Claud's character are references to Burton films, such as the Gothic design of his house and the way his striped suit resembles Beetlejuice. This is also reinforced by the fact that when Charlie adopts a guise similar to Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka from Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, Charlie stated it "had a thematic resonance with Claud's Signamancy".
